It helps her relax and reduces nausea, weakness and other undesirable side effects of pregnancy. However, here are a few things you must be careful about while practising prenatal yoga.

•  First of all, all pregnancies are different from one another. Therefore consult your doctor before making any move.

•  While you practise pregnancy yoga or baby yoga, avoid positions that put too much pressure on the abdominal muscles. Also avoid doing back bends a lot.

•  You need to alter the positions with every stage of pregnancy. As the belly grows, you need to make room for the belly and adapt positions accordingly.

•  If you feel any kind of pain or dizziness, immediately stop and inform your instructor as well as your doctor.
