Yoga For Pregnant Women: Safety Tips To Keep In Mind

There are many studies and cases that prove yoga for pregnant women is extremely healthy and helps the mother through her pregnancy. It helps her relax and reduces nausea, weakness and other undesirable side effects of pregnancy. However, here are a few things you must be careful about while practising prenatal yoga.

•  First of all, all pregnancies are different from one another. Therefore consult your doctor before making any move.

•  While you practise pregnancy yoga or baby yoga, avoid positions that put too much pressure on the abdominal muscles. Also avoid doing back bends a lot.

•  You need to alter the positions with every stage of pregnancy. As the belly grows, you need to make room for the belly and adapt positions accordingly.

•  If you feel any kind of pain or dizziness, immediately stop and inform your instructor as well as your doctor.
